Patient Information
Your First Visit
Your first visit at Harley Dental will involve understanding your dental concern(s), a comprehensive assessment of your oral condition and where clinically necessary, x-rays, photographs and additional tests. This is to provide you with an accurate diagnosis together with an individual plan to meet your treatment goals.
Our team will thoroughly discuss your available treatment options in plain language with an estimate of fees associated with each. Ample time has been set aside to answer any/all of your questions so you can confidently choose the right treatment path for you. For a complex dental situation, a second appointment may be required in support of our team establishing the best treatment options for your personal situation.
Fees
Prior to treatment commencing, you will receive an estimate of fees and available payment options for your proposed treatment. Fees will vary widely depending on your individual treatment plan and will be discussed in detail with you.
Scheduled Appointments
We kindly request that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your designated appointment time to ensure your appointment runs smoothly and with as little delay as possible. Patients under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for their consultation and any subsequent visits.
Should you need to reschedule your appointment, we ask you to provide us with no less than 72 hours notice. Our team will try to reschedule your appointment for a more convenient time, but please be aware due to high demand, it may result in a longer wait for your next appointment. Failure to provide a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment may incur a cancellation fee.

Referrals
Whilst most of our patients are referred to us by their general dentist or a medical professional, it is generally not required to schedule a consultation with a Harley Dental consultant. A referral made online or on paper is simply preferred because your regular dentist or medical professional can explain your dental situation and needs.
Should you wish to seek a consultation with a Harley Dental clinician without a referral, please contact us on (08) 8239 0000 and we can assist in directing you to the clinician who best suits your needs.
